This major provides the springboard for students to enter careers including;

  • medical research
  • biotechnology
  • agricultural sector
  • medical support industries
  • education

Majoring in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology gives students an opportunity to develop knowledge in key basic biological processes as well as more specialised areas of molecular science.  Students will build a foundation of practical skills required for a career as a laboratory scientist, with a strong focus on communication, team-work and research.
